RESIDENTIAL | House 9338.5, Mulholland Corridor, Los Angeles, CA
Site Planning, Design, Project Visualization and Entitlement
House 9338.5 is a spec remodel for a residential development company. The original 2,200 sq ft single family home was purchased or $2.2 million. The developers will renovate with a 4,800 sq ft addition for a cost of $3.2 million. The site is located on a hillside shelf with complete privacy and long views to the west. The design is oriented toward the natural surroundings with door and window openings to allow a strong relationship to the outside. As separate guest house allows privacy and doubles a pool house when not in use. Between the main house and the pool house, the pool becomes the activity center of the home. Guest rooms with en-suite baths are located at garden level while the entire second level is reserved for the master suite, sitting and exercise areas. The private auto court and detached three car garage enhance the arrival at the property.
